Tagged!
I consider this a milestone in my blogging 'career'. Long, I waited for someone to tag me, constantly wondering "Mera number kab aayega?" to the extreme annoyance of the more 'grown up' part of me. (Yes! A part of me is schizophrenic. You wish!). The day has arrived and I've been tagged by Erimentha.
The tag: Write a post with six weird facts or habits about yourself. Tag six other people to do the same and leave them a comment to let them know they've been tagged.
Now I could just quote an earlier post and be done with it, but as I've said before, I've waited long for this day, so I'll quote some from there and add some more to try and explain a very weird me.
- I have this need to punctuate my emails, blog posts, even SMSes. I cannot use abbreviated forms of words like 'gr8', 'b4' etc., (except to quote them as examples of things I cannot do) and more often than not cannot stand 'that' being written as 'dat'.
- I can't sleep if I don't wash my hands.
- I feel uncomfortable if a mail in my inbox remains unread, deferred for later. (It's ok if the mail is in another folder.)
- I don't know if it's weird for other people, but qualifies as a fact/habit, that I love PJs, listening to them as well cracking them. Most are puns or pseudo-puns, although I like other word-play as well.
- I am very bad with planning errands to run or chores to do. (It is weird, considering that's what I do at work and manage to do a decent job of it.)
- I need to sleep with all external doors shut.

Re #5: You're an errand boy?
And #6: Can you shut an 'external door' without shutting the corresponding 'internal door'? That's weirder than everything else you've posted!
#5: Ok, I stand corrected. To clarify, I plan tasks for myself and others at work. Maybe I'm just bad at the implementation.
#6: By external door, I meant a door that faces to a room which others have access to. The door to my walk-in closer may remain open, so can the door to the loo to create pseudo-ventilation in an otherwise poorly ventilated apartment.
Scary! I confess to being guilty of 1,3,5 and 6. So you're not as unique as you think you are. :)
