I'm Bach!
Well, not really, I'm just back, but was thinking of a joke from the old times which only me and one other friend ever understood and found funny. The short version goes something like this.
Spielberg's making a movie on the history of music and is taking auditions for the various roles.
Di Caprio comes in and says he wants to be Mozart since he can very well play the arrogant, bratty Amadeus. Spielberg agrees.
Bruce Willis wants to be Beethoven for some other vague reason. Spielberg agrees again.
Then Arnold walks in and says "I'll be Bach!"
Don't worry if you didn't get it. Most people I know didn't. The point I was trying to make was, after the long period of inactivity that this blog has seen, there are finally some new posts. This past month has been extremely hectic for me and though there have been a number of observations, interesting conversations, experiences that I have felt the need to write about, there just hasn't been time. I want to make a list here so that I remember them and also to be a reminder to myself, but that would just spoil the suspense, wouldn't it?
I also can't promise how regular I'm going to be with posting in the near future, since time promises to be a scarce commodity in the near future as well. But do keep dropping by, read some of the older posts, leave comments (I also put up a link for you to send me email, if your comment is not on a post in particular, but more general in nature), hang around, make yourself at home, socialise... you know the works. I promise that sooner or later you shall be rewarded with action, drama, romance, humour... all the things that SET MAX promises you. And as with most Bollywood productions, you shall not be bored with mundane happenings at the workplaces of the principal characters, but are guaranteed all the gossip.
So, stay tuned...

Is the other friend me or someone else? :)
Don't remember telling you the joke dude, but I guess you possess the sense of humor to appreciate it ;)
"so that I remember them and also to be a reminder to myself".... (I think you get it, so I shall not comment more. Just drew your attention...)
And I can't get why that joke was so incomprehensible... It isn';t rocket science! Like all PJs it's actually even funny.
@careless: Well, it requires certain background information, about the existence of a composer named Bach! And that information, I have discovered, is not very common.
nice joke yaar...am happy to have got it :D...
