The week that was..... is?
Wow! What a week it's been! Well, more than a week actually. First three day weekend I had to work through. And since last Thursday I've never been sure of what day it was, just going in to work, mostly staying there and 'sometimes' coming back home to sleep.
So here are the highlights:
- Two full nights spent at a coffee shop working (Advice: If you're in Hyderabad and planning to do that, the coffee shop at Taj Residency is an awesome place with minimal distractions.)
- Work lost because of crashing beta software, the frustrations of it, and doing it all over again.
- A 34 hour stretch at work. (My record for longest stayed awake still stands at 50 hours. Don't know if I'll be able to break that ever.)
- Long hours spent to make up for skills I don't have and learning 'on the job'.
- It has also been a week of interesting conversations, long drawn, lasting into the wee hours of the morning.
- Midnight discussions on philosophy, philosophers, their backgrounds, motives.
- Finally slept in the little room with the oh-so-comfortable couch and a Vacant/Occupied sign at work. That 50 minute nap was the best sleep I've had in some time.
- Met some new people, and some I haven't seen in ages, not all I would have liked to meet again.
- Flat-mate moving out, a new one moving in. Still looking for another one. (Yes, I gave up the hunt, and stayed with my true love.)
