Turning 26!

I turned 26 today, (well technically not for another two hourse), and for probably the first time in 26 instances, I had almost forgotten about my birthday. Unfortunately, that doesn't make them go away. So here I am, on the latter side of the twenties, (I wanted to say 'wrong' side, but I really hope it's the right side) with not much accomplished and no idea what I want from the rest of my life.

Mr. Luhrmann would probably say "The most interesting people I know didn’t know at 26 what they wanted to do with their lives, some of the most interesting 40 year olds I know still don’t." But that doesn't change the innate desire most humans have of sneaking a peek into their future or Bejan Daruwala would be out of business. Not that I'm much into horoscopes, (my fortune for the day says "Your love life will be happy and harmonious." It doesn't say when, though.) but how do I plan for it when I have no clue what it's gonna be like, and how do I know what it's gonna be like when I don't even know what I want it to be like.

To top it off, my dad's showing me profiles and pictures of potential wives. Hell, I turned 26, not 30. Unfortunately again, parents just can't see eye to eye with their children, even if they themselves got married at 29. Rationality is dead! I'm one of the last survivors. Have to repopulate earth with rational beings or undertake the more arduous task of converting people to rationality.

Now that's a vision for the rest of my life. Once again, I have a motive to live, that of propogating a new religion, the religion based on Rational behaviour. No more fundamentalism, no more being herded by politically inclined religious leaders. It's time to see Yuva! That reminds me of these five IIT grads who've started a political party. Revolution is in the air and I am getting totally random. I guess it's a late 20s thing.
